jabber-querybot software package provides Modular xmpp/jabber bot, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jabber-querybot
jabber-querybot is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jabber-querybot package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jabber-querybot *
You will get with jabber-querybot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
